Alison is a long-standing and valued member of The Rise Osteopathy team, having joined forces with Elaine in 2004. Her unique skills as an osteopath and her calm, nurturing manner enable her to deal with even the most complex of cases.
Alison qualified from the London School of Osteopathy (LSO) in 1995 with a Diploma in Osteopathy (DO). She went on to obtain a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy from the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC), where she worked for a number of years treating children from 0-18 years and pregnant and postpartum women.
She has undertaken extensive postgraduate training throughout her many years in the profession, and has experience treating a wide range of patients, from babies to the elderly. She has worked not only in private practice but also within the NHS and various charitable organisations.
As an osteopath, Alison enjoys helping people to understand the causes of their condition and how to manage their own health in order to remain mobile and able to enjoy life.
With a background as a professional dancer and qualified sports masseuse Alison is experienced in treating both dance and sports injuries, and is available for appointments at Rise Osteopathy East Dulwich and is BUPA registered.
