Having previously competed as a national level gymnast, Janine sought treatment from an osteopath which sparked her interest in the profession. In 2017 Janine graduated from the University College of Osteopathy (formerly British School of Osteopathy) with a Masters in Osteopathy (M.Ost). In addition to her osteopathic education, Janine is a qualified massage therapist, which she has been practicing for the last nine years.
Diagnosis is centre to Janine’s approach. From here she is able to devise a treatment plan using a range of hands on techniques and may incorporate exercise prescription where necessary. Janine treats a range of ages from school-aged children to adults and has experience working with sports injuries, work related postural stress, pre and post natal complaints and elderly patients.
Janine also has a keen interest in nutrition and the significance this has on our health. She wrote her dissertation on the musculoskeletal complications of Diabetes which prompted her to complete a nutritional diploma. Janine can offer advice on a range of topics including pre and post natal nutrition, childhood nutrition and weight management.
In her own time, she enjoys cooking for friends and family, reading and yoga.
